The Rev. Dr. A. Roy Medley will retire as ABC general secretary this December after 14 years of service. In the United States and in numerous countries across six continents he has worshipped, fellowshipped and connected with countless believers committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of His Great Commission. As he leaves this role of leadership—and after more than 40 years of involvement in local, regional and national ministry—he reflects on the denomination he loves and the opportunities that await it.
